Ali Ata Akel is a film director born in Salzburg (1985) and raised in Istanbul. He studied Fine Arts at Pera Güzel Sanatlar and graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University (VCD, 2008) After working in London as an Art Director, he returned to Istanbul and worked in motion design with leading agencies on major global brands, later expanding into music videos and filmmaking he studied at Prague Film School in 2014. He is now a freelance commercial director based in Istanbul, working with brands such as La Roche Posay, Pantene, Head & Shoulders, Bioderma, Vitra, and Ülker.
